Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join Harborview Post Acute in Memphis. This permanent position focuses on working with post-acute patients recovering from surgery illness injury and medically complex conditions. Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist you will assist patients in improving daily living skills functional mobility and overall independence. Job Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Guide patients through therapeutic activities focused on improving daily living skills and functional independence
Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and proper use of equipment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care and recovery planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards




Requirements
Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Tennessee
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 6 months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 years preferred
Experience in post-acute SNF or rehabilitation settings is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
