Certified OccupationalTherapist Assistant Responsibilities

Workunder the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to assist withtreatment programs

Recordtreatment in medical records

Communicateswith interdisciplinary team members regarding resident progress problems andplans

Recordsdaily treatments and labor according to facility procedure

Instructsfamilies and staff in maintenance or home exercise programs

Coordinatewith inter-departmental personnel

Certified OccupationalTherapist Assistant Requirements

Degreefrom an American Occupational Therapy Association Accredited School ofOccupational Therapy

CurrentNYS licensure

COVID-19Vaccination

Previousexperience in post-acute/long-term care
