Job Summary
As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
Notifies R.N. and/or L.V.N. of relevant changes in the patients condition including but not limited to changes in V.S. level of consciousness and/or pain breathing pattern drainage amount of bleeding mood or increase and decrease in capabilities/limitations.
Recent experience in an acute care setting preferred. Graduate from high school or its equivalent. Current CA C.N.A certification BLS and MAB.
