Certified Nursing Assistant (Float Position)Full-time DAY shift; 7:00 AM to 7:30 PMSet schedule: Sunday Monday and Tuesday OR Thursday Friday and SaturdayWill float to facilities located in Garden Grove Tustin Artesia and La Habra and San Dimas12-hour shifts (every shift includes 4 hours of overtime pay)Base pay range: $18.50-21.00 per hour based on experience $4 per hour FLOAT shift differential 8 hours base pay $4 FLOAT differential 4 hours of overtime pay $26.25-$29.16 per hourFull benefits (medical dental vision 401k w/company match life insurance and more!) for fulltime positionsOne year CNA experience preferred ideally experience with medically complex patientsNeuroRestorative Facilities CLHF (Congregate Living Health Facility)10 to 15-bed facilitiesLow patient ratiosResponsibilities:Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services providedProvide assistance and/or supervision to individuals in the areas of daily living personal care and community/social integrationHelp maintain safe and quality supports for individuals servedInitiate emergency procedures on a needed basisUse equipment correctly and safelyReport any hazardous conditions equipment accidents or incidents to supervisorMaintain current progress notes and any other appropriate documentationAssist with resident activity programs including off-site outings and off-site appointmentsAssist with household activitiesAssist in keeping residence tidy and cleanAssist with meal preparation and mealtimesPrepare rooms for admissions of new residents obtaining equipment and supplies as neededPrepare residents for dischargeActively attend and participate in team meetings and training as required Maintain confidentiality and treat others with dignity and respect in all you doQualifications:Completion of CNA certification program AND current California CNA certificationOne year CNA experience preferred ideally experience with medically complex patientsCurrent in CPR for Healthcare ProviderAbility to effectively communicate with staff residents and familiesA reliable responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
