Americare Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide essential hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing this role youll play a vital part in supporting residents physical emotional and daily care needs while helping maintain a safe clean and supportive environment.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certified Nurse Aide Certified Nursing Assistant Nursing Assistant or Caregiver depending on experience and certification.

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) provides direct personal care and support to residents in accordance with individualized care plans state regulations and Americare standards. This role works closely with nursing and therapy teams to ensure residents receive high-quality respectful and person-centered care.

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming and toileting
• Assist with transfers lifting repositioning and mobility as needed
• Observe document and report changes in resident condition and care provided
• Support restorative nursing and therapy activities as directed
• Maintain a clean safe and homelike environment for residents
• Report accidents incidents or concerns involving residents staff or visitors
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
• Follow all safety procedures including proper lifting techniques and use of required safety equipment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment
• Previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred but not required

• Compassionate resident-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Dependable professional and safety-focused

• Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed
• Push pull and maneuver up to 100 lbs. including resident mobility assistance
• Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.

• Adhere to all safety protocols including two-person lifts and use of mechanical lift equipment
• Utilize required PPE to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• Report work-related injuries promptly and complete required documentation
