A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT / CNA

As a Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA you are proud to help seniors live their best lives within the places they love most. Your assistance with daily tasks allows our clients to live as independently as possible. They appreciate your positive attitude as you competently assess what needs to be done. Whether youre performing light housekeeping duties preparing meals or grocery shopping you approach each job with cheerful efficiency.

On occasion you provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia. Always patient and kind you assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing. Your respectful approach allows clients to maintain their dignity as you help them maintain proper personal hygiene.

Attentive to detail you keep a log of the duties you perform during your shift. You submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care. Reliable and conscientious you check in with the office often providing timely updates regarding the needs of your clients.At the end of each day you feel a sense of pride knowing that you make a difference in the lives of seniors!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Dependable compassionate and professional
• Ability to remain attentive and engaged throughout a 12-hour shift
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients families and the Griswold team

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time caregiving position hasflexible hours.Depending on the needs of our clients there are opportunities forday or night shifts. Clients may receive as little as 1 hour of care while others require 24-hour care.
