Job Summary
RiverView Health is a community owned membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston MN.
RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - part-time
Location:Hospital / Inpatient
Position Status: Non-Exempt (subject to OT)
Schedule: FT (.3fte)
Pay Range: $18.03 - $23.33 /per hour (DOE - based on experience)
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing dressing grooming toileting ambulation and feeding.
- Obtain and document vital signs weights and other basic clinical data in the electronic medical record.
- Monitor patients and report changes in condition or behavior to the RN.
- Provide assistance with mobility transfers use of assistive devices and prevention of falls.
- Maintain patient hygiene room cleanliness and infection control standards.
- Assist with transporting patients to procedures departments or discharge locations.
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs in a timely and courteous manner.
- Set up equipment and supplies for patient care and assist nursing staff with procedures as needed.
- Promote a safe respectful and healing environment by following hospital policies and demonstrating professional behavior.
- Participate in shift reports team meetings and continuing education as required.
Minimum(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Minnesota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Preferred(s):
- 2 years of hospital experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (Epic)
Competencies:
- Strong communication interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete documentation accurately.
- Physical ability to stand walk lift bend and assist patients as needed
