Job Summary

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Contract Opportunity

Location: Albuquerque NM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Hour Shifts (6:00 AM 6:30 PM)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a healthcare setting. The CNA will support patients with daily living activities monitor their well-being and assist the nursing team in delivering safe and effective care.

The ideal candidate is professional detail-oriented and dedicated to maintaining patient dignity comfort and safety while working collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming feeding toileting and mobility support
  • Obtain record and report vital signs accurately
  • Assist with patient transfers repositioning and safe ambulation
  • Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized patient care environment
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate interaction with patients and families
  • Support nursing staff with basic patient care procedures as needed
  • Follow all infection control safety and confidentiality protocols
  • Document patient care activities in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required per facility guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Compassionate patient-centered approach to care
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hospital long-term care (LTC) skilled nursing facility (SNF) rehabilitation or acute care settings
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Strong teamwork time management and adaptability skills
