Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Contract Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Las Palomas Center for a 13-week contract assignment.

Position Details

  • Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Location: Las Palomas Center - Albuquerque NM
  • Shift: 6:00 PM 6:30 AM
  • Schedule: Friday Saturday and Sunday
  • Meal Break: 30 minutes
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: $23/hour
  • Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
  • Monitor and document residents vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing staff.
  • Assist with patient mobility transfers ambulation and positioning using proper safety techniques.
  • Maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for residents.
  • Support residents with meals hydration and personal hygiene.
  • Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
  • Communicate effectively with residents families nurses and other healthcare team members.
  • Follow infection control safety and HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • Active certification in good standing.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or as required by the facility).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Compassionate reliable and patient-focused approach to care.
