Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is hiring a Nurse Assistant/ Certified Nurse Assistant to join our Parkview Long Term Care Facility in Bolivar Missouri someone who leads with skill compassion and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

Position Details

• Status: Full time Part time and PRN (Per Requested Need).
• Work Shift: Days Evenings Nights or even Rotating
• Hours: Varies upon shift
• Shift Differential $1- $3 additional depending on shift.

What Your Day Looks Like: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory principles of treatment and nursing procedures in the care of residents.

As a Nurse Assistant/ Certified Nurse Assistant you will be:

• Preparing residents for meals serving and collecting food trays and nourishments and documenting intakes
• Handling and caring for resident clothing andpersonal property protecting fromdamageand assuring proper storage
• Making rounds to assigned resident accommodating resident needs
• Ensuring safeappropriate nursingcare is administered and problems reported to the charge nurse for follow-up action

Qualifications:

Education:High School Diploma (preferred).

Experience: None! We provide on-the-job training for those looking to obtain their CNA.

Skills: Good Communication Patience Attention to detail flexibility Intrapersonal Skills.

Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Nurse Assistant Certification/ Licensure or agrees to enroll attend and pass CNA course with 4 months of employment BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR (we assist with obtaining this) within 6 months of employment.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 90% of the shift and sit for the remaining 10% of shift. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
