Shift & Schedule: Monday Friday 7:45 AM 4:15 PM 40 Hours Per Week No Weekends No Holidays

Pay Rate: $22/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant Physician Services for an exciting Travel or Local job in Paramus NJ.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms ensuring proper supplies and sterilization.

• Assist physicians and nursing staff during patient examinations and procedures.

• Obtain and record patient vital signs in the medical record.

• Perform EKG phlebotomy pulmonary function testing (PFT) audiometry and Titmus testing.

• Perform UDS and BAT after competency validation.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.

• Support patient flow and ensure efficient clinical operations.

• Assist with office administrative tasks including records management and billing support.

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.

• Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA).

• Current BLS certification (AHA).

• Strong knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.

• Phlebotomy experience required.

• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.

• Experience delivering age-appropriate and culturally competent patient care.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in an ambulatory care setting.
