Certified Medical AssistantAs a Certified Medical Assistant with Schlessinger MD youll be at the heart of our vibrant and award-winning dermatology clinic. Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting our dedicated providers and fellow nurses in patient care managing administrative duties with a smile and delivering top-notch customer service to our cherished patients. In this role you a deep dedication to patient well-being exceptional organizational skills and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team. Maintain and organize patient medical records ensuring accurate documentation of all procedures treatments and prior authorizations and appeals Triage incoming phone calls and messagesPerform basic medical procedures such as collecting vital signs conducting physical assessments and obtaining patient medical patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent outAddress patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and examination rooms by ensuring they are clean organized and fully stocked with necessary providers with medical treatments procedures and nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry sterilizing rooms Location:On-site- Omaha NebraskaStatus:Full-time Non-ExemptCurrent schedule: Monday-Thursday (*We may occasionally adjust employee work schedules or business hours to meet customer/patient needs respond to emerging opportunities or address unforeseen challenges)We are looking for someone with:Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA)Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients medical professionals and other external parties in a courteous helpful and friendly experience in a dermatology clinic or similar healthcare setting is to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented in using electronic medical record (EMR) focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait is pleased to offer these great perks:Quick access to exceptional health dental and vision coverage.
