Guided by the values of Dignity Collaboration Accountability Access Quality and Innovation our team delivers care coordination clinical and pharmacy services mental health support housing and nutrition programs to build a trusted comprehensive home for care.
As our Certified Medical Assistant youll be a key member of the care team supporting efficient patient-centered clinical operations. Youll facilitate patient flow perform clinical intake and routine testing and support providers and nursing staff so every visit runs smoothly. Working within our Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model youll help keep the clinic visit-ready so licensed staff can focus on assessment care planning and treatment.
What Youll Do
- Room patients and complete clinical intake (vitals history medications screenings)
- Perform CLIA-waived tests and point-of-care diagnostics (EKG urinalysis glucose pregnancy testing)
- Collect and process lab specimens including phlebotomy (if certified)
- Administer vaccines/injections and assist providers during exams and procedures
- Coordinate medication pickups with our in-house pharmacy and manage patient flow
- Document accurately in the EMR and support quality/compliance metrics
- Medical Assistant certification or diploma required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification required.
- Proficiency using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- At least 3 years of ambulatory/outpatient primary care experience.
This is an hourly full-time non-exempt position reporting to the Clinic Manager with a starting rate of $25.50/hour.
- 150 hours of PTO in year one increasing to 195 hours per year moving forward plus 12 paid holidays.
