Location: Neptune NJ
Duration: Approximately 28 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM 4:30 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly

• Pay Rate: $16$18/hr based on experience

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support daily clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will assist providers with patient care perform clinical testing and procedures administer pediatric immunizations and ensure accurate patient documentation while delivering exceptional patient service.

• Prepare exam rooms treatment rooms medical supplies and instruments for patient visits and procedures
• Prepare patients for physician examinations and minor office procedures
• Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories in electronic medical records
• Perform clinical testing including:
  • EKG
  • Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
  • Audiometry
  • Titmus Testing
  • Urine Drug Screening (UDS)
  • Breath Alcohol Testing (BAT)
  • Phlebotomy and laboratory testing
• Administer pediatric immunizations and assist with medication administration as directed
• Conduct patient screening both in person and over the phone
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain demographic and financial information
• Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and healthcare staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and patient confidentiality standards

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

• Current AHA BLS Certification required
• One of the following certifications required:
  • CMA-NHA
  • CMA-NCCT
  • CMA-AAMA
  • RMA-AMT
  • RMA-NAHP
  • AMCA
  • NCMA

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
• Pediatric immunization experience required
• Experience with patient vitals and rooming required

• Must be able to speak read and write English
• Ability to stand for extended periods (minimum 6 hours/day)
• Ability to lift at least 5 lbs. and push/pull at least 10 lbs.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations including varying age groups and special needs
• No floating required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No weekend or holiday requirements
