Job Summary

Job Title: Certified Behavior Technician School Setting
Location: Lacey WA
Type: Contract 42 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift Monday Friday 7:00 AM 1:30 PM 32.5 Billable Hours Per Week

Pay Rate:
Travel Pay: Up to $41/hour (Including Stipend)
Local Pay: Up to $35/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician School Setting for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lacey WA.

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a qualified professional.

  • Provide one-on-one and group behavioral support to students with developmental behavioral or emotional needs.

  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student behavior and progress.

  • Assist students in developing social communication academic and adaptive living skills.

  • Collaborate with teachers therapists and school staff to support student success.

  • Utilize positive behavior support strategies and crisis intervention techniques when appropriate.

  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies state regulations and professional standards.

  • Participate in team meetings training sessions and ongoing professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Certified Behavior Technician (CBT/RBT) Certification required.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques.

  • Strong communication documentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with students families and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to pass all required background checks and school district clearances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology Education Behavioral Science or a related field.

  • Previous experience working with children in a school behavioral health or educational setting.

  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
