Job Summary:
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Athletic Trainer for our Sports Medicine & Athletic Training department located within the Edgewood hospital/OP.Job Description:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education Credentials Licenses:
- Masters degree in athletic training or related field (effective 2023 new graduate requirement)
- (if hired before 2023) Bachelors degree in athletic training or related field
- National certification from Board of Certification (BOC) National Athletic Trainers Association
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state where work is being performed. *Must obtain Regular/Unrestricted License in the state where work is being performed within 6 months of employment
- BLS/CPR Certification
Specialized Knowledge:
- Expertise in prevention diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries
- Broad range of injury management including both musculoskeletal concussion and emergency care
- Knowledge of Athletic Training regulatory issues
