The base pay scale for this position is $41.76 - $63.60. In addition this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors including but not limited to: scope of role level of experience education accomplishments internal equity budget and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. At Hospital for Special Surgery we are committed to delivering the highest quality musculoskeletal care. We are seeking an experienced Inventory & Central Sterile Processing (CSP) Coordinator to support our Long Island Ambulatory Surgery Center operations.
In this role you will play a vital part in ensuring surgical teams have the instruments implants and sterile supplies needed to deliver exceptional patient careevery day.
- Maintain inventory levels of surgical supplies implants and instrumentation
- Coordinate receipt tracking and documentation of implants and loaner trays
- Ensure proper sterilization and processing of surgical instruments and equipment
- Collaborate with OR teams supply chain and leadership to support daily operations
- Serve as a resource and mentor to CSP staff
- Monitor compliance with infection control safety and regulatory standards
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CRCST certification (IAHCSMM/HSPA)
- 3 years of experience in sterile processing and OR inventory management
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- 5 years of experience in CSP and materials management
- Experience in orthopedic or ambulatory surgery settings
- Leadership or preceptor experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and surgical inventory workflows
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive solution-oriented mindset
