Job Summary
Grade: 150Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday to Friday
Summary: Responsible for the Picking of all OR Case Carts as well as Delivery of Case Carts to specific locations within the hospital. Reviewing surgical schedule to check and correct case carts when there are changes.

Essential Functions:
-Assures the case cart supply room has the necessary preference cards and schedules needed to provide the Operating Room with correct case carts.
Updates any requisition that may be incomplete or incorrect
-Adjusts all Emergency case cart requisitions when necessary to reflect instrument and stock item changes.
-Notifies the Manager of any out of stock items.
-Performs all duties in accordance with applicable health and safety rules regulations and standards.
-Attends all educational in-services and staff meetings held in the department and all mandatory educational programs provided by the hospital.
Attendance to the hospital safety fair is MANDATORY.
Attends all staff meetings and Department in-services.
-Performs other duties as assigned by the Department Manager or Supervisors
Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree No
Licenses and Credentials: Certified Central Processing Tech CSP - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred or Certified Registered Central Service Technician CRCST - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred
Experience: 3 years Sterile Processing/Surgical Case Cart System preferred and Knowledge of Inventory Control Systems preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Staff adheres to all I C.A.R.E. Standards.
- Work independently.
- Works as a Team member.
- Computer skills required.
