Position SummaryProvides outside of the classroom instruction writing and other academic support for Duties & ResponsibilitiesTutors students individually or in scheduled group study sessions to review principles solve problems review for tests and provide positive and constructive reading writing and academic skills labs and workshops to develop writing math word processing study and other academic and updates confidential files and records ensuring that ethical and legal guidelines are learning materials textbooks software and equipment to facilitate tutoring; may design specific handouts study and related materials in collaboration with academic Skills Abilities & Other AttributesBachelors degree knowledge in subject effective interpersonal communication and organizational proficiency with various software and technology tools including learning management systems scheduling platforms and online communication working in an educational Working ConditionsSome evening and weekend hours may be necessary.
