Cemetery Grounds Maintenance

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Seasonal Maintenance Employee at Mountain View Cemetery in Lakewood WA . Our maintenance teams take pride in maintaining our grounds with attention to detail and tradition ensuring every familys unique experience is honored. As integral parts of our community our maintenance workers have a strong sense of ownership in our grounds and locations reflecting the highest standards of quality and comfort in this stable this role the maintenance crew gains transferable skills fostering even more of a sense of purpose.

Responsibilities

• General Facility Maintenance including o:
  • Cleans and maintains the facility performs minor repairs painting etc.
  • Vehicle and equipment washing/cleaning
• Groundskeeping including:
  • Cuts grass.
  • Maintains lawn and trims around trees walkways and memorial markers
  • Blows leaf and grass
  • Edges with stick edger
  • Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
  • Cleans ponds and fountains
  • Hand digs/trenching
• Pressure washing parking areas as needed

Compensation- $17.13-$19/hr.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing lifting balancing walking stooping and handling materials
• 6 months of experience in grounds keeping preferred
