Cellular Therapies Logistics Specialist

LifeSouth is a non-profit community blood bank serving more than 150 hospitals in Alabama Florida Georgia and Tennessee. We are looking for a motivated detail-oriented and team-focused individual to join our team as a Cellular Therapies Logistics Specialist in Gainesville FL.

In this role you will be responsible for managing data integrity and workflow related to the procurement handling storage and shipment of cord blood and cellular therapy products.

Key responsibilities include maintaining spreadsheets and databases generating reports and communications for both internal and external customers and overseeing logistics for cellular therapy products used in research; including product inventory management. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid drivers license required; must meet and maintain LifeSouth drivers eligibility requirements
• Prior experience in data or inventory management in a laboratory blood bank and/or research environment preferred
• May be expected to work various hours which may include overtime and/or working weekends
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills
• Strong comprehension of written oral and visual instructions
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Organized with strong record-keeping skills
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
