Cellular RF System Architect

The Cellular RF Systems Engineering team sits at the very core of that mission defining the wireless technologies that enable seamless experiences for hundreds of millions of users worldwide. nnWe are looking for a motivated and dedicated engineer to join our team and contribute to our Cellular RF this role you will be at the center of RF innovation helping to drive the evolution of our RF architecture by optimizing current systems defining next-generation transceiver and front-end solutions and setting critical system requirements.

In your role as the Cellular RF System Architect you will contribute and be part of an elite Cellular RF Systems Engineering Team. We are tasked with driving cellular radio technologies addressing GSM UMTS LTE 5G NR and upcoming 6G standards. You will work closely with Platform Architecture RFIC and PMU design teams and suppliers to assess scope and ultimately drive Cellular RF technology innovation to meet the challenges of next generation wireless products. Occasional travel including international may be required.

Understand and translate complex use cases and derive corresponding implementation requirements for RF algorithms RFICs and RFFW for optimum user experience. nAnalyze different RF transceiver architecture options for optimum KPIs such as power consumption and RF simulation u0026 measurement results to identify trade-offs and propose system level improvements.

BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experiencenYou have experience in deriving implementation requirements based on high level system requirements. nYou have strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work across diverse cross-functional teams to solve highly complex multi-disciplinary have strong Technical Writing Skills.

We value your 5 years of relevant experience in RF including direct expertise in transmitter and receiver architectures. You should never be satisfied with your knowledge so continuous study research and collaboration is needed from you to have in-depth knowledge of cellular radio standards (GSM UMTS LTE 5GNR and upcoming 6G) regulatory and carrier requirements including their implications on overall radio architectures and RF system have experience in RF performance criteria and concepts such as EIRP TRP noise figure sensitivity/desense phase noise EVM spectral mask spurious harmonics intermodulation s-parameters Smith charts and tuning have experience in RF line-up analysis AGC and TPC concepts calibration and compensation have experience in understanding complex system use cases and derive corresponding implementation requirements for optimum user experience. nYou have understanding of antenna array theory and associated measurement methods.
