CDL Truck Driver, Class A

As an OTR Driver you will be expected to:

• Operate and maintain a company vehicle to deliver finished products to external customers safely on time and following company policies and government regulations within a defined geographic delivery area.
• Provide excellent service to our customers representing Carpenter a positive and professional manner.
• Unload product at the customers location as specified in the delivery order.

Skills and Requirements:

• Must have a Class A CDLincludingManual Transmission Endorsement but no experience required.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must adhere to all DOT Regulations and practice safe driving techniques.
• Must maintain accurate paperwork and electronic DOT logs.
• Must unload finished product at each destination as required.
• Must be able to lift carpet cushion rolls weighing 50 to 90 lbs. each.
• Mustfollow all Carpenter Co. rules to include safety regulations attendance and personal conduct.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.

Additional Information:

• Drivers are paid for all hours worked-Mileage-Hourly-Unloading Pay-Meals
• We also have Profit Sharing and a great Benefit Package including Health Dental Vision Life Disability and paid time off (Vacation and Holidays).
• Salary 1st year average is $88000 and higher for Road Drivers!

IC
