CDL Driver Weekdays M-F 7am to 330pm

Under the direction of the Sr. Warehouse Supervisor the CDL Driver is responsible for driving between facilities with raw material bulk materials and finished goods. When not driving between locations associate will support the :Drive safely between site locations Load and unload the truck at each locationUse pallet jack to safely move pallets on/off the truckFollow company paperwork procedure concerning delivery to locationsFollow all FMCSA safety regulations as mandated by the and verify delivery instructionsEnsure contents are correctly secured inside of truck or trailer to prevent breakage or damageDrive vehicles over 26000 lbsObtain signatures to confirm and complete pickup or deliveries with team clients suppliersConfirm the contents of each shipment load matches the order documentNotify managers of any significant maintenance or pickup/delivery issues encounteredPerform inspections of vehicle before and following each tripReport vehicle defects accidents or violations immediatelyAlways ensure vehicle is kept clean and has required safety gearSupport the warehouse team as neededOperate a forklift or other equipment when neededAdditional duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or Class A CDL licenseClean driving recordKnowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations and safety standards2 years of experience with tractor trailer driving preferredComfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailerAbility to pass drug and alcohol screeningMust be able to use an electric pallet jack and forklift to load and unload trucks (once certified)Experience in forklift operationFlexibility for overtime when neededMust be able to read/write EnglishGood communication and time management skillsAbility to work autonomously and use resources availableAdaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic weather conditions etc.)Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job trainingRequirements:Must be able to lift up to 50lbsMust be able to stand for up to 8 hoursExtended periods of sitting and driving for up to 8 hoursMust be able to work in a physically challenging environmentShift: WA1-1st Shift Group 8 : Monday- Friday 7:00am- 3:30pmRate: $31.00 per hourWe proudly offer: Medical Dental Vision 401K with Company Match Pet insurance and more!We reward the hard work of our team members with fun and exciting company events Summer Picnic Festive Packages Holiday Celebrations and associate referral bonuses!Founded in 2011 Piping Rock Health Products has gone on to win Long Islands Top Workplaces Award 7 years in a row & securing the spot as Top Supplement Manufacturing Company 2024 by Food Business Review!
