Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect report defects and maintain transport equipment.
• Willing to learn Omnitracs or current fleet intelligence platform program.
• Plan logistics to insure on-time delivery; Hours will vary.
• Obey all applicable traffic and freight-carrier regulations and laws.
• Meet performance expectations.
• Obtain and verify shipping bills of lading and other paperwork.
• Deliver documentation to the shipping office or appropriate colleague when delivery route is complete.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Relocate trailer assets at our facility.
• Maintain a safe work record.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL
• Tractor-trailer driving experience with little to no accidents.
• Strong commitment to safety and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to be an engaged member of a Team.
• Must be willing and able to deal with customers and working crews in an efficient courteous cooperative and business-like manner whether in person or by telephone.

Knowledge and Skills

• Load shipments in delivery trucks.
• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
• Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items.
• Completes reports by entering required information.
• Provides quality service by following organization standards.
• Follow safety regulations.
