The role

As a CDL Driver at IPL you will:

1 Perform daily tractor and trailer inspection and report all safety issues to supervisor immediately.

2 Maintain log books and daily inspection reports as required to meet DOT regulations.

3 Shuttle trailers between plant and warehouse as needed. Frequently raising and lowering landing gear of trailers in order to safely operate between locations.

4 Sort pack wrap tie and label products as per company procedures as needed.

5 Weigh products and record weight and other data in product labels.

6 Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.

7 Clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets wood and plastic.

8 Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.

9 Maintain material handling equipment by refueling and other necessary actions and record all information on log sheet.

10 Record information regarding movements of supplies materials and finished products.

11 Identify and report faulty equipment damages and safety concerns to supervisor immediately.

12 Store the products in proper places in warehouse.

13 Transport products to and from warehouse and distribution centers.

14 Deliver products to various units in safely and timely manner.

15 Keep own and adjacent work area clean.

16 Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned

What you will bring to the role:

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 1-3 years of Class A driving experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Class A CDL license current DOT physical & forklift certification
