Ensure adherence to safety rules. Assist passengers in boarding and exiting the vehicle. Administer and assist in all aspects of ADLS.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety rules as clients board and exit buses or cross streets near bus stops.

  • Check the condition of a vehicles tires brakes windshield wipers lights oil fuel water and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.

  • Maintain order among clients during trips to ensure safety.

  • Keep bus interiors clean for passengers.

  • Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs.

  • Drive gasoline diesel or electrically powered multi-passenger vehicles to transport clients between neighborhoods cities and social activities.

  • Assist clients in all aspects of ADLS while in the facility which includes but not limited to feeding toileting dressing functional transfers ambulation and any other activities of daily living.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current New Jersey Drivers CDL License with Passenger Endorsement.

  • Previous experience in Long-Term Care facilities preferred.

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients clients families regulatory agencies or members of the community.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Driving: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (Required)

  • Passenger Endorsement (Required)
