CDL-A Truck Driver

OurCalumet City ILbranch is seeking a full-time CDL-A truck driver. This position is first shift M - F and hourly (no flat rate!). This is a union role through Local 150. The hourly compensation for this role is$37.00 per hour. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to:Timely delivery of equipment and basic upkeep of the truckOperate two types of trailers: beaver tail trailers and lowboy daily trip logsAccurately complete paperworkProviding exceptional customer serviceWork and manage workloads independentlyProper completion and submission of all required paperworkIncorporate Altas Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedDesired Skills and Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of previous CDL-A truck driving experience is desiredExperience with Lowboy truck is Drivers License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving recordMust be able to drive stick shiftComputer programs - HYPASS Hyster TKC training software and Hyster contact management systemLanguage Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure Skills - Basic: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
