Job Summary

DIRECT HIRE:A fantastic opportunity for an experienced CDL A Route Delivery Driver to join a dynamic team.
Location: Shelbyville KY.
Pay: $25-$28hr depending on experience
Shift:Second- Monday - Friday (occasional weekends if needed) Hours: Start time is between 4pm and 9pm (depending on the route) 10 hour days

Responsibilities for CDL A Route Delivery Driver:

Have excellent attendance
Meet established route schedules
Have good communication and customer service skills
Follow all company safety rules
Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
Be able to follow directions given by their supervisor or manager
Follow all company policies and procedures
Possess and maintain a positive attitude
Maintain a safe clean and organized work area in line with company policies
Deliver the product to our customers in a timely manner
Be able to work past the schedule as production/delivery issues may arise
Ability to properly maintain required daily and weekly paperwork
Perform a daily visual inspection of the equipment
Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit

Additional Responsibilities:

Cross-train on other routes per department needs
Perform equipment moves to service provider for repairs and service as needed

Skills/Requirements for CDL A Route Delivery Driver:

Be able to sit in a vehicle for several hours per day
Be able to push/pull soil/clean carts weighing up to 800 lbs. (on wheels)
Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending twisting lifting and pulling
Valid Class A drivers license
Adhere to all DOT state and local regulations
Must have clean driving record per company policy
Have six months to one-year experience
Be available to drive nights and weekends
Ability to speak and read the English language
Ability to lift 25 pounds overhead
Ability to stand walk and climb stairs up to 10 hours per day
Be able to use repetitive arm motions
