Role Overview

A major grocery distribution operation is seeking CDL-A Regional and Local Drivers to support dedicated Kroger freight throughout Colorado and surrounding areas. This opportunity offers consistent miles no-touch refrigerated freight bonus opportunities and steady weekly pay within a growing dedicated operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport refrigerated grocery freight safely and efficiently
  • Operate within regional and local delivery routes
  • Handle live unload and drop-and-hook freight operations
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
  • Complete deliveries on schedule while maintaining professional customer service
  • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs and documentation
  • Support safe driving performance across mountain and winter driving conditions

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A required
  • Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience required
  • Ability to operate safely in regional and mountain driving environments
  • Professional driving attitude and strong safety mindset
  • Ability to commit to a 70-hour work week as needed
  • Regional drivers must have personal vehicle access for truck parking arrangements

Compensation & Bonuses

  • Mileage pay up to $0.80 CPM based on experience
  • Average weekly pay: $1450 - $1581
  • $17 stop pay
  • Hourly detention pay after 2 hours
  • Up to $1000 winter mountain driving bonus
  • Up to 3% additional bonus for safe and on-time deliveries
  • Weekly pay

Route Information

  • Primarily Colorado Southern Wyoming and Eastern Utah routes
  • Average 1700 weekly miles
  • Mix of live unload and drop-and-hook freight
  • No-touch refrigerated freight
  • Reefer training provided if needed

Schedule & Home Time

  • Mix of local and regional schedules
  • 34-hour reset home time
  • 24/7 operation with schedules based on customer freight demand
  • Local and regional schedules may transition to 6-day work weeks during peak periods
