CDL-A New Grad Driver

The numbers

• $1200 to $1800 a week about $62400 to $93600 a year
• 1800 to 2900 miles a week
• Mileage pay plus stop pay
• Paid every week by direct deposit

The work

OTR lanes across everything east of Denver except the Northeast. Loads mix drop-and-hook live load live unload and preloads. Freight is planned ahead and dispatched day and night.

The training

120 hours from CDL school gets you in. You train one-on-one with an experienced mentor and get paid for it. When you finish you go solo at full pay in your own assigned truck an automatic or 10-speed about 1.5 years old.

Requirements

• Class A CDL from your state of residence age 21 or older
• New CDL grad (120 hours) or verifiable driving experience
• Acceptable driving record: no more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in the past 10 years
• DOT physical and hair and urine drug screen
