CDL-A Heavy Equipment OperatorLaborer Construction

R. J. Corman Railroad Services is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Nicholasville KY.

Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively in a rotating schedule for adequate work-life balance (typically 8 days on 6 days off).
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Perform digging hammering and other physical types of work with various tools.
• Operate heavy or specialized equipment (i.e. Tripp Mach Mark IV Tamper TKO Regulator M320 Trackhoe Dozer Crane etc.).
• Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used.
• Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Education and Experience:

• Valid CDL-A with no restrictions manual endorsement and DOT medical card required.
• Experience operating heavy or specialized equipment.
• Must pass background drug screen and physical capacity test.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
• Perform digging hammering and other physical types of work with various tools.

Environmental Conditions:

• Travel extensively on a rotating schedule.
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Love working outside!
