Job Summary

Shambaugh & Son is hiring a CDL-A Flatbed Truck Driver to safely transport construction materials and equipment to jobsites throughout the region. This is a full-time hourly position with competitive pay overtime opportunities excellent benefits and steady year-round work. Drivers will operate company-owned equipment maintain DOT compliance and support construction operations while being part of a safety-focused team. Class A CDL required; flatbed experience preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate company owned and leased trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving operations
  • Operate trucks for the delivery pickup and relocation of construction materials and equipment
  • Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
  • Safely haul material to our jobsites
  • Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
  • Must operate and maintain company equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Class A CDL required
  • One or more year(s) flatbed tractor-trailer experience
  • Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company
  • Availability for overnights 2-3 nights average
  • Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
  • Ability to operate and maintain commercial vehicles safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with dispatchers customers and team members.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Commitment to safety both for oneself and others on the road.
  • Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
