About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team.
Shift: 1st (Job Type: Full-time) Overtime available Location: Anniston AL

Responsibilities:

- Primarily Vans work within 60 miles
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Company uses trucking software with dual facing cameras
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries vehicle maintenance and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure compliance with all local state and federal transportation regulations.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License).
- 2 years of experience
- Acceptable MVR and driving record
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and record keeping.
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License).
- Good attitude and willing to learn the job.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Normal work environment is outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions dirt high levels of noise smells/odors and at times exposure to dangerous and/or toxic substances requiring necessary precautions including PPE.
The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit and talk or hear.
- Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
