How youll contribute
A Cath Lab Technicianwho excels in this role:
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
Formulates an individualized plan of care revises plan as indicated by the patients response to treatment and evaluates overall plan daily for effectiveness.
Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team provider patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patients rights.

What were looking for
Licensed by the state as a radiation operator; Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist; CI or RCIS preferred
Certifications: BLS; ACLS - obtained within 6 months of hire
Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred
Must be able to meet requirements of departmental on call policy.
Required critical thinking skills decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
