Cath Lab Tech

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for the safe operation of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Coordinates care with the physicians and other departments.

• Performs in the following roles for adult and geriatric cardiac catheterization procedures: computer operator scrub assistant second circulator and recovery technician.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with current registration in the state of Kentucky and registered with the ARRT or higher.

• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course required upon hire.

• BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days.

• Ability to work well under stress and possess effective communication skills is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One-year invasive vascular experience preferred.
