As our Radiologic Technologist you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images specifically tailored for pediatric patients enabling accurate diagnoses and effective management of their conditions.
Every day you will perform a variety of imaging examinations on children including X-rays ultrasound diagnostic fluoroscopy CT/CAT scans and MRIs while actively creating a comforting and positive experience for young patients and their families through direct interaction.
To be successful in this role you willunderstand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging in a pediatric context encompassing expertise in child-friendly workflow age-appropriate patient positioning and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses in children.
- Assures that the rights of the patient/family are respected and maintained.
- Allows for privacy and modesty in the provision of care.
- Identifies self by name and title to patient/family.
- Determines presence/type of Advanced Directive.
- Reports suspected cases of abuse/neglect if identified.
- Understands role of and how to access the Bioethics Committee.
We are offering a $10000 Sign On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements. Per policy crrent employees are not eligible. However this role is eligile for a Referral Bonus.
Required:
- High School Graduate General Studies upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies upon hire and
- Graduate of a Radiology Program upon hire and
- Less than 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience upon hire
- Medical Radiographer: CA upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
- Fluoroscopy Radiology Tech: CA within 90 Days and
Preferred:
- Associates Other upon hire and
- Expanded IV Therapy Course upon hire and
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT upon hire
