Our beautiful 196room hotel features six spacious event rooms and a tented outdoor event space allowing us to host a wide range of memorable social celebrations and catered events.*Relocation assistance not available*Position OverviewThe Catering Sales Manager is responsible for generating catering revenue by selling the hotels event spaces and catering services for social events as well as offpremise catering opportunities. This role manages the full client lifecyclefrom initial inquiry through event executionensuring exceptional service strong financial results and unforgettable guest Schedule & Availability(Required)Primary work schedule: Tuesday Saturday. Flexible work hours are required. Must be available to work evenings weekends and holidays based on event schedules and business needs. Schedule may vary depending on operational demands and live event ResponsibilitiesAchieve established catering sales goals as outlined by the Director of Sales generate new catering business through direct sales efforts networking and outside sales calls conduct tours of the hotel and banquet facilities for prospective clients. Negotiate food and beverage pricing event space and hotel services. Prepare and manage catering contracts Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) banquet checks and final event billing. Serve as the primary client contact from inquiry through event date. Maintain accurate and detailed records in Delphi collaborate with hotel leadership and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. Assist clients with menu selection and event planning using strong knowledge of hotel facilities and culinary offerings. Ensure invoices are accurate and payments are obtained in accordance with hotel policies. Complete Annual Performance Agreements and Monthly Action school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years of hotel restaurant or catering sales experience. Twoyear degree or higher preferred. Proven sales negotiation and closing skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously. Experience with Delphi Microsoft Word and Excel EnvironmentCombination of office work and onsite event coordination. Frequent interaction with clients hotel leadership culinary and banquet teams. Handson involvement with live events requiring schedule RequirementsAbility to stand walk sit bend reach and move throughout the property. Occasional lifting and movement of eventrelated materials.
