Position Summary:
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for performing a range of food service duties including cooking prepping and general sanitation. Must be able to transport food and equipment to catering functions. Ability to work independently and make own judgement when resolving problems. Develops customer relationships to maintain client satisfaction.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advanced level of technical experience in food preparation.
- Skilled in cooking and following menus and recipes.
- Guides other catering staff when needed.
- Greets all customers with personal service and provides superior customer satisfaction.
- Answers phones and takes requests when needed.
- Makes deliveries across campus using various transportation means inside and outside.
- Light sanitation and clean-up of storeroom as appropriate.
- Schedules and coordinates duties independently on all shifts.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge Kills and Abilities:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years of experience in Catering or Culinary/Kitchen experience required.
- Hospitality or Healthcare experience preferred.
- Small lifting.
- Valid Drivers License required.

Full-Time- 40 Hours.

Salary Range: Minimum 16.65/hour - Maximum 27.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
