Funding:FederalJob Duties and Responsibilities:
The International Programs Advisor will work directly with the Director of the University of Hawaii - West Oahu Office of Global Engagement and other UHWO faculty.
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the UH West Oahu Office of Global Engagement.
- Assists in managing and directing assigned services programs and operations related to International Programs and/or International Students.
- Work with other UHWO Staff on matters regarding International affairs
- Coordinate Outbound & Inbound International Programs at UH West Oahu.
- Functional knowledge of administrative and organizational processes as applied to the management of operations services facilities and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education communication humanities or a related field.
- Equivalent of two years or more of progressively responsible professional experience providing educational services for international students.
- Two or more years of prior experience working/interacting with International students & coordinating international programs.
- Demonstrated ability in program development including needs assessment design and evaluation.
- Ability to work outside normally scheduled business hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work in-person at the UH West Oahu campus.
