Job Description

Peterson Trucks has a need for Casual Help at our San Leandro CA location. This job is limited duration lasting six months or less.

SUMMARY

Responsible for general clean-up of the shop and yard. Assists parts service and sales departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Clean shop and yard as needed.

• Assist with set up and take down with special events.

• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.

• Operate overhead cranes and other CAT equipment.

• Follow all safety procedures.

• Take care of environmental concerns including wash rack and soil remediation.

• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• Maintain punctual regular and predictable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED and good previous work record required. Experience in the safe operation of heavy and other miscellaneous equipment also required. Experience operating a steam cleaning machine preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred but not required.

• Valid Drivers License with an acceptable driving record

The hourly pay range for this position is: $22.08 - $25.00 (Starting wage will depend on experience and education. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.)
