Position Summary:

The cashier will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Our service and parts department has grown and needs another energetic people with strong people skills to take care of our service and parts customers!

Schedule: Saturdays and Monday - Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Understand and process checks for payment
• Train and learn on Clover electric pay system along with gift card acceptance
• Have consistent attention to detail to ensure invoices are processed accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers
• Process returns and credits thru computer system
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Scan documents into our dealership management system
• Alert and able to assist customers at any time with parts inquires and transactions
• Maintain customer lounge area and clean and restock as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in retail sales is (preferred)
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic math skills (required)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• High School Diploma GED or equivalent experience (required)
• Valid drivers license (required)

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced automotive service department
• Frequent communication with technicians advisors and management
• Primarily indoor work environment with occasional shop floor interaction.
• Ability to stand and move around various service shops and the dealership.
• Team-oriented dealership culture focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $18 an hour
