Cashier / Retail Sales Associate Responsibilities

As a Cashier / Retail Sales Associate youll play a key role in the daily success of our store. Your primary focus will be delivering excellent customer service while ensuring customers have a pleasant and efficient shopping experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and providing friendly professional service
• Operating a cash register and processing transactions accurately
• Handling cash and maintaining register accuracy
• Assisting customers with purchases and product questions
• Stocking shelves and replenishing merchandise
• Preparing coffee and maintaining beverage areas
• Cleaning and organizing store areas
• Following company policies and safety procedures
• Supporting other store operations and completing additional tasks as assigned

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active multitasking and working in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Friendly patient and approachable personality
• High level of honesty and dependability
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent
