Speaks Law Firm is seeking an experienced high volumePersonal Injury Case Manager (Paralegal) to join our team. Candidates must have at least two (2) years of experience working with a high volume of personal injury claims in NC.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain effective communication with attorneys clients insurance adjusters and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects
- Drafting of legal documents including routine pleadings and motions affidavits and interrogatories; files motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures
- Research and analyzes statutes regulations legal articles judicial decisions and other legal sources; provides written analysis to attorneys
- Interview clients and witnesses and prepare summaries of their statements
- Prepare organize store and retrieve case files which may include evidence exhibits depositions pleadings exhibits and other items
- Ability to demonstrate key performance indicators and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervisory oversight
- Monitor & manage clients medical treatment
- Send requests for information including medical records & billing
- Maintain/organize client files
- Preparation and filing of general correspondence e-mails demand packages and other exhibits into Case Management Software
- Understand subrogation liens & disputing unrelated charges
- Complete balance sheets accurately reflecting Rule 414 payments/adjustments
- Familiarity with Medicare Medicaid and other health insurance portals
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) plus years of experience working with NC personal injury claims
- Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and colleagues
- Associates degree or higher
- Paralegal certificate a plus
