Aboutthe Role:
TheCase Development Paralegalplays a foundational role in the clients journey. This team member conducts detailed client interviews gathers essential case facts ensures early deadlines are met and advances new matters through the beginning stages of the case lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Fact Gathering
Conduct initial and follow-up interviews with clients to collect and verify essential case information.
Maintain regular communication with clients in theearly stagesof the case to gather updates documents and any missing information.
Provide clients with a clear understanding ofnextsteps and what is needed from them.
Case Development & Investigation
Collect review and summarize key information related to liability injuries insurance and incident details.
Request and obtain relevant documents from clients providers insurers and agencies.
Assistinidentifyingpotentially responsible parties and verifying preliminary case facts.
Initiate earlyevidence-gatheringtasks to ensure deadlines are met.
Workflow & Deadline Management
Advance cases through the firms early-stage workflow by completing required tasks promptly and accurately.
Ensure all time-sensitive items such as early noticesrequiredforms and follow-up communications are completed within deadlines.
Maintain clear organized and thorough documentation of all actions and communications.
Make detailed and informed case recommendations to the attorneys and management
Data & Record Management
Accurately enter update andmaintaincase information in the firms case management system.
Track client treatment progress identify gaps or issues and ensure updated information is captured.
Prepare cases for handoff to the next phase of the process once all required early-stage tasks are complete.
Client Care & Support
Serve as a compassionate steady point of contact during what may bea difficult timefor clients.
Help clients navigateearly treatmentneeds documentation requests and general case questions by guiding them to the right care at the right time

Qualifications:
Required
Strong communicationand interviewing skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow structured workflows processes and checklists
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Comfort with technology and using case management software
Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage a high volume of active cases
Exceptional analytical skills for evaluating case detailsidentifyingkey issues and contributing to case strategies.
Effective problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that arise during case management.

Preferred
Experience inpersonal injury insurance medical administration customer service or legal intake
Experience in a deadline-driven or professional services environment
Familiarity with case management systems (Salesforce/Litifya plus)
Paralegal certificate or relevant coursework (preferred but notrequired)
