Carrier Sales Intern

BBI is looking for hard working competitive and passionate student looking to gain sales experience. As a Carrier Sales Intern at BBI you will gain hands-on experience through extensive logistic training providing support to your assigned mentor and taking on more responsibility as the internship goes on. What youll be doing.

• Gain training on the logistics industry BBIs proprietary TMS and operational tasks that will set you up for success throughout the program.
• Learn how to sell book and dispatch loads in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate with carriers to negotiate rates and secure capacity
• Understand market pricing and how it impacts load coverage
• Assist in covering loads at or below market rate
• Partner with the Operations team to transition loads after dispatch
• Work alongside Account Coordinators to understand execution processes
• Gain exposure to both Carrier Sales (transactional) and Customer Sales (relationship-driven) models

What youll bring to the table.

• Junior and Senior undergraduates pursuing a bachelors degree preferred
• Able to work in office as this internship does not offer remote opportunities
• Hard working and positive spirit
• Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
