Carrier Relations Specialist
Job Summary
This role is on site Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm

- Recruit and qualify third-party carriers through outbound calls.
- Manage full onboarding process including setup credentials and compliance requirements.
- Support carriers through early loads and ongoing platform use.
- Educate carriers on customer-specific requirements and expectations.
- Assist with portal access and system/login support.
- Handle inbound calls voicemails and service inquiries from carriers.
- Resolve issues related to delays service concerns and communication gaps.
- Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support capacity needs.
- Monitor carrier performance ratings and feedback trends.
- Support carrier engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Maintain carrier insurance certificates renewals and cancellations.
- Update carrier records and profile information in internal systems.
- Track fuel surcharge data and assist with reporting.
- Provide active carrier lists and updates to dispatch teams.
- Process compliance-related documentation and correspondence.
- Support cross-functional coverage and special projects as needed
- 2 years of customer service account support recruiting or similar experience.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume phone-based role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general business systems.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Associates or Bachelors degree.
- Experience in logistics transportation carrier relations dispatch or brokerage.
- CRM experience (Salesforce or similar).
- Exposure to compliance insurance tracking or vendor management.
- Basic reporting or data handling experience.
- Strong service mindset with consistent follow-through.
- Relationship-focused and comfortable building trust quickly.
- Process-driven organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-starter who can manage competing priorities.
- Interested in growing within transportation and logistics.
Required Skills:
2 years of customer service account support recruiting or similar experience. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable working in a high-volume phone-based role. Proficient with Microsoft Office and general business systems. Ability to work independently and within a team.
Required Education:
Associates or Bachelors preferred
