Assisting Hands Home Care is actively hiring Caregivers CNAs HHAs PCAs DSPs and Home Care Assistants to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and adults in Crown Point IN and surrounding Lake and Porter County communities.

Caregiver Responsibilities

Assist with bathing dressing grooming toileting and hygiene
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with mobility ambulation and transfers
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders only
Observe and report changes in client condition
Use mobile app for clock-in/out and documentation
Follow agency safety and infection control procedures

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Preferred 2 years experience as a Caregiver CNA HHA PCA DSP or related role
Reliable transportation valid drivers license and auto insurance
Ability to pass a national background check
CPR certification and TB test preferred or willing to obtain
Dependable patient compassionate and professional
Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and communication
