Every day is an opportunity to bring comfort encouragement and companionship to someone who truly needs it. As a caregiver youll provide non-medical support that allows clients to remain safe happy and independent in the comfort of their own homes.

Your responsibilities include:

Providing companionship and meaningful conversation

Assisting with personal care including bathing showering dressing and toileting

Offering medication reminders

Helping clients move safely inside and outside the home including transportation to appointments

Planning and preparing meals

Grocery shopping or accompanying clients while they shop

Assisting with light housekeeping tasks

Observing and reporting changes in a clients condition while responding appropriately to emergencies

Encouraging and assisting with activities of daily living to help clients maintain their independence

Ideal candidates will have:

A valid drivers license current auto insurance and reliable transportation

The ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

At least 2 years of healthcare or in-home caregiving experience preferred

Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of their home address

The ability to provide care for both male and female clients

The ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

A compassionate dependable patient and positive attitude
