As a caregiver youll provide compassionate non-medical in-home care that allows seniors and veterans to remain safe comfortable and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Assisting with personal care including bathing dressing grooming and toileting

• Providing medication reminders

• Assisting with mobility transfers errands and transportation to appointments

• Preparing meals and performing light housekeeping

• Observing and reporting changes in a clients condition

• Encouraging independence while improving each clients quality of life

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience required

• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license

• Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius

• Experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt is preferred but not required

• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

• Comfortable working with both male and female clients

• Strong communication skills and a dependable professional attitude
